Code/Art Fest is an annual tech-inspired conference for girls & STEAM Educators that includes workshops, keynotes, a digital art exhibition, STEAM expo, and closing awards ceremony! #CodeArtGirl #CodeArtFest

• Students will spend the day making interactive digital art, games, and animations while learning tools such as Scratch, Tinkercad & Javascript (all experience levels welcome).
• Teachers will be equipped to bring creative coding projects into their classrooms. The STEAM Educator Track is curated with workshops that will resource teachers with materials, lesson plan ideas, and the confidence to teach coding lessons in a virtual or hybrid setting.

Participants will: 

• Attend creative coding workshops and interact with STEAM education providers
• Hear from keynote speakers and women in tech panel
• Vote for their favorite coded self-portraits
• Watch student innovators pitch their projects to earn the ChangeMaker $1,000 grand prize
• Interact in a virtual reality (VR) digital art-exhibition
