Be the life of the party with the new Makey Makey DIY Party Pack!
Teachers love their winter door displays and since it is the season, we wanted to share this mini guide on making your own door display featured on Instructables AND we wanted to share this amazing Makey Jukebox by one of our Facebook group Educators!
Meet Natalie Markey the Innovation and Design Teacher at Harrison Township School District. She and her students made this amazing Makey Makey Bitsbox Jukebox door display for their winter door decoration contest and it blew us away!
(Download your own pdf here from Natalie)
The wires of the Makey Makey are connected to the back of the jukebox poster, clipped to the conductive metal clips (the front of which are the buttons you push to play the song.) You must hold the EARTH button to ground yourself to complete the circuit.

The wires connected to the jukebox poster are connected to the Makey Makey circuit board, which is inside the box. The Makey Makey circuit board is powered by the Chromebook it is connected to via USB. |
|
The songs are coded using SCRATCH. Students learn how to incorporate SCRATCH with the Makey Makey kits to create interactive projects! |
