Scratch for CS First

Did you know students can access Scratch through Google CS First? As a teacher, you can create classes and add students. Then students can create their Scratch projects in Google CS First.
To get started, sign into your Google Account.
Click on the "Plus" icon to create a new project or create a class.
Once you click "New Project" you can create a project with all of the original Scratch blocks! There are no extensions in this version of Scratch, but students can still use "When Key Pressed" blocks to program projects for their Makey Makey inventions!
As an alternative, you can also download the offline version of Scratch. Then students would be able to save (export) projects offline.
